"Rud Alpe, Lech am Arlberg. Really lovely old building thats got loads of character right on the main run in to Lech. If its nice out, then sit on the sun deck for brilliant views of the valley and down into Lech. Normally friendly and helpf...ul staff, and of course fantastic food at resonable prices. (not the norm for Lech) Doesn't matter what you order its all really good. Chicken Salad is huge, white chocolate moose makes my toes curl, and the Kaiserschmaren (pancakes) is without doubt the best in the Alrberg. Or if its parties your after it has to be the Folie Douce in Val. Get some high performance french lager inside you, dance of tables to excellent music, acompanied by a live drum kit on the roof, and random apearances from string sections, and horn sections wandering around with radio mikes. Then see who can ski down the Coup de Monde to La Daille, spilling as little precious beer as possible. Have a great season everyone!"
