Banff lies in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, amid some of the most amazing mountain scenery you'll find anywhere. In these incredible surroundings it offers some of the most breathtaking slopes and runs in the world, with offerings proportioned for all skill levels and for snowboarders as well as skiers.

Banff links three ski areas, each with its own distinct character and all accessible with one ski pass! It offers a wide range of non-ski activities and apres ski spots (with roaring log fires to drive out the chill). Banff has a longer season than most European resorts, opening usually from early November until late May. It's more expensive than European resorts but will repay the extra expenditure for those who can afford it..
